Recession

Our boss send a long memo regarding recession....umm....hmmm...erk!! Matilah if recession again!! If the recession really just around the corner, we all need to start saving...I mean seriously saving. I remember recession in 1997, I was just graduate then, at that time I don't really know what recession is all about! Talk about being ignorant!! Mom said...its going to be difficult because we have to be very discipline with cash. I was like ??? garu kepala.....cash?? Lucky I come to my senses....despite my early plan to "lepak-lepak" after graduation...I start looking for job. After more than 10 application (was it really just 10?? I think more than that!!) and endless job interview...I finally get a job...aduhhhh many thanks to my former boss otherwise I'll be jobless and will not be where I am now :-)

The telling sign when we are about to go into recession :-
- consumer borrowing hit record high
- property prices will peak then fall
- interest rates trend increasing higher
- new food/outlets opened
- bankers offering 100% home financing
- unemployment rises as businesses slow down
- bad debts rising due to poor collection

There are 2 basic things can happen during recession - Your income can be reduced and inflation can makes your expenses increase.

I think we have to take control now before times become desperate. Then again its "almost" desperate time now with the price increase for rice, chicken, flour....etc...everything increase...rumours said petrol price will increase anytime soon...iskkk...pui pui pui

Class of 91

Make new friends, but keep the old;
Those are silver, these are gold.
New-made friendships, like new wine,
Age will mellow and refine.
Friendships that have stood the test -
Time and change - are surely best;
Brow may wrinkle, hair grow gray,
Friendship never knows decay.
For 'mid old friends, tried and true,
Once more we our youth renew.
But old friends, alas! may die,
New friends must their place supply.
Cherish friendship in your breast-
New is good, but old is best;
Make new friends, but keep the old;
Those are silver, these are gold.
Rindulah pulak dengan kawan-kawan...iskkk....entah diaorang baca ke tidak blog aku nih. Anyway, school time still the best time....to enjoy of course!! Study pun masa nak dekat exam, selebihnya tu...enjoy sakan. Iskkk nakal betul time sekolah dulu....nasib baik SPM lulus bagus kalau tak...tak merasa masok nak universiti!! Kalau tak masok universiti entah2 aku terus kawin....anak pun berderet2....mampusss....Ummmm siapa admire kat aku dulu ehh?? Hehehehe..... perasanlah pulak!!
Ct : Hopefully we remain best of friends forever

Is It Really Hard To Be Rich??

The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason...a tiny and enlightening book I ever read about financial. Truth is I've done all financial blunders....and still am...but the book is an eyes opening how to manage your debt, future saving and investing wisely...Read it and get on the road to richest.

Let me share the "7 Cures for a Lean Purse" as taught by Arkad - the man who has amassed the greatest wealth in Babylon.

The First Cure : Start thy purse to fattening
For every ten coins I put in, to spend but nine.

The Second Cure : Control thy expenditures
Budget thy expenses that thou mayest have coins to pay for thy necessities, to pay for thy enjoyments and to gratify thy worthwhile desires without spending more than nine-tenths of thy earnings.

The Third Cure : Make thy gold multiply
To put each coin to labouring that it may reproduce its kind even as the flocks of the field and help bring to thee income, a stream of wealth that shall flow constantly into thy purse.

The Fourth Cure : Guard thy treasures from loss
Guard thy treasures from loss by investing only where thy principal is safe, where it may be reclaimed if desirable and where thou whill not fail to collect a fair rental. Consult with wise men. Secure the advise of those experianced in the profitable handling of goal. Let their wisdom protect thy treasure from unsafe investments.

The Fifth Cure : Make of thy dwelling a profitable investment.
Own thy own home.

The Sixth Cure : Insure a future income
Provide in advance for the needs of thy growing age and the protection of thy family.

The Seventh Cure : Increase thy ability to earn
To cultivate thy own powers, to study and become wiser, to become more skillful, to so act as the respect thyself.

"Its not how much you earn....but how much you can save"

Ct : Cakap je nak saving.... hishhhh.... :-(
